Lisfranc Injuries

 

Lisfranc injuries present with varying levels of severity. Often times the injury may be so subtle an MRI is needed to diagnose. More traumatic injuries typically involve both fractures and or ligament rupture, which require the need for a combination of joint fusion and fracture repair after anatomic reduction has been achieved. This featured case is an example combining open reduction internal fixation with primary arthrodesis (fusion) procedures.
