Foot and ankle trauma is typically referred from a local ER, which unfortunately delays treatment and subsequent recovery. Featured below is the before and after of a patient who came directly to our office after sustaining a severely displaced toe fracture. We were able to operate the very next day and perform a quick closed reduction with temporary fixation which will be later removed in office. Surgical incision, internal fixation, time and money otherwise spent in an ER was all eliminated. This result and technique was only achieved due to the expedited diagnosis and treatment plan completed all within the same day. Save yourself the runaround and call us for a same day appointment for any foot or ankle related injuries!
